Network Marketing Specialist talks about the importance of "Belief"

Network Marketing Greeting to Everyone!

Hope you are not overwhelmed by my last post about A=Awareness. To summarize its importance: One cannot achieve something that one is not aware of. If, at this stage, you are NOT convinced that network marketing DOES WORK, then the upcoming tips will not help you. You may as well save your time and effort and give a 'pass' to this thing called 'network marketing'.

For the rest of you who believe that network marketing is something that you may want to be involved in, here comes tip No.2 - B=Belief. You guys have passed the 1st belief (that network marketing really works)! So, what else do I need to believe before I can make it work? 2nd belief = the products or services that you are promoting AND 3rd belief = yourself (that you can promote successfully). You may say, these are 'no-brainer' tips! Let me clarify.

You cannot be successful simply by believing in all these 3 factors. However, you will face challenges when you move onto other areas (eg. communication skills, personal development, leadership development, etc) without having the absolute conviction that what you are doing (network marketing) is a meaningful adventure that you are proud to be involved.

Let's focus on the products or services. If I were to promote a cigarette brand through network marketing, I could never do it! Why? Because the product does not align with my values. If I were to promote a telephone service, I could probably be able to do it well but I do not have passion in that service. My tips to you is to find  products or services that you believe in and feel excited about. Personally, I believe that with one billion people world-wide turning 65 for the next 18 years, there is market trend. Ask yourself questions such as "Am I passionate about helping the aged population to be healthier? What about helping them get more energy? What about relieving them with pain or other ailments through nutrition? How about assisting this group to establish an additional source of income from the comforts of their own home?

Okay, let's move on to 'Belief in Yourself'. This is a HUGE one. As I mentioned before, I witnessed people come and go in network marketing. Many left within their first year of joining the company without having the slightest idea why some people in the same company (same network marketing industry as well) promoting the same products or opportunity can make it work but they just can't. I'd like to quote what Dani Johnson says: If your heart is in the right place, this is simple and it makes an impact on everyone around you.

If you passed the other 2 beliefs but doubt that you can really do what it takes to be successful (because you are too young, too old, uneducated, too busy, etc), I encourage you to listen to Dani's inspiring story. Go to www.danijohnson.com. If you are a Christian, there is a special session for you too.

There are other trainers specializing in this area too. The shedding of your own 'emotional baggage' is a major step in doing network marketing right. In our team system, the first step is to do a '30-day mental cleanse' so that you are free from emotional constrains that would hold you back.  If you need more directions, connect with me and I shall be able to point you to more resources relating to network marketing.

Network Marketing Specialist's tips ABC

In the last posting, I mentioned about the dilemma facing a network marketer who genuinely want to spread the news about good products and services. WHAT our intention is and HOW we communicate our message are two key factors to consider. Yet it is not enough!

With mere intention to help others, our enthusiasm can often 'drown' others. Result? Friends and relatives know that you are wanting to help but avoid you anyway. This happened in my first year of my network marketing journey. Just mastering the essential skills to communicate how network marketing can benefit others is not enough either. Reason? A lot of people simply do not really understand this industry. They often make up their decision based on their preconceived idea about network marketing : 'unethical', 'very hard to achieve success', 'only benefit those who are willing to work many hours a week', 'extremely time consuming - something not worth doing', 'only benefit who joined in the beginning', etc

I presume that you are here because you would like to see what would truly make network marketing work for YOU. Hopefully you can come to an intelligent decision. My intention is to educate you about the SIMPLICITY of this business model ... and that it is complicated by human thoughts! Interesting? Read on!

My tips to you is to know the ABC of network marketing: A= Awareness; B=Belief; C=Clarify.

Let's say that you have heard of terrible stories about how people got ripped off in doing network marketing. Are you aware that there are ethical network marketers out there genuinely doing the day-to-day marketing job, promoting great products or services? Are you aware that some are paid handsomely for their efforts too. Many part-timers I know earn extra income simply by recommending what worked for them. Isn't this way of 'working' simple?

What if you yourself have had negative experiences with network marketing? Say, you worked your butts off but eventually you had to give up because of poor results? I witnessed people come and go in network marketing in the past years. People quit before tasting success they deserve because they are not awareness of the professional way to do this business. Are you aware that they are teams of people enjoying a better quality of life because they are doing it right? They are in the privileged position to mentor others and see others succeed beyond their wildest dreams too. Aren't they contributing a lot to mankind?

My intention is to challenge you to think about 'awareness'. If you are a stay-at-home mum wondering if this is for you, keep thinking. If you have your own career or business but not working really well, I encourage to to explore this industry too. I'm more than happy to provide you with more resources so that you can find out more about network marketing.

P.S. In the next post, I shall write about "Belief". Stay tuned!

How the experts stick to their ethics despite the "unethical" reputation of network marketing

In my 7-year journey of network marketing, I have stuffed up (many times!) despite my intention to help others. How? Let me explain - often people join network marketing because they think the effective products are so GREAT that there must be a lot of people who would like to know about them. Yet, people often encounter the frustration that I experienced at the beginning.

Network marketers who initially 'failed' can testify that the combination of deep faith and enthusiasm is a recipe for immediate frustration. In my first year, sharing information about avoiding environmental toxins and healing with non-drug options, I could not convince a single friend why it would be wise to get involved.

A lot of people would say 'No' or 'Not interested' without giving me any opportunity to share why they would prefer not to join me. This may be related to the poor reputation of network marketing, caused by the unethical behaviour of SOME network marketers.

Here comes the ethical dilemma: How can I, knowing that certain products can help people with their ailments, feel comfortable not sharing information and testimonials? There are so many inspiring stories from others using the products, benefiting financially and health-wise!

After years of trial and error, I have identified from the experts the essential skills for success in network marketing. An understanding of human psychology and communication skills are essential. In line with the experts' good intentions to help others find success, my blog will provide such tips so that you can achieve your success too.
