Network Marketing Specialist Tips: Support Team & Mentoring
Hi, welcome to this blog again!
Recently, I have been thinking how to help other people understand how cool this MLM industry is. I believe that if you are in the industry for a while, you probably need no convincing that this business model can help you succeed beyond your wildest beliefs.
If you are not so sure if this is really possible, here are a few real life examples that you may wish to check out:
1) the late Ken Pontious - www.teamparagon.com
2) Tom 'Big Al' Schreiter - www.fortunenow.com
3) Dani Johnson - www.danijohnson.com
4) Jeffrey Combs - www.goldenmastermind.com
5) Jerry 'DRhino' Clark - www.clubrhino.net
6) Tim Sales - www.firstclassmlmtools.com
7) Eric Worrie - www.networkmarketingpro.com
(many more success stories in the "Million Dollar Interviews' Session)
I hope these stories can assist to to stay on and keep doing the right things (the daily actions) towards achieving your goals and dreams.
If you happened to be one of those who think that while this model of doing business is great, it is not always easy to succeed, I would encourage you to 'follow the foot steps of the giants' and learn the insiders' success secrets.
As many successful network marketers pointed out again and again, MINDSET is the crucial ingredient. That is, you cannot possibly have success unless and until 'the business gets into you' and you truly believe that your products and/or services can 'make other people's lives better' as stated by Tim Sales.
Having said that, we are human....and at times, we may face challenging situations and start doubting what we are doing. How can we stay on track? Here is what the Support Team (Upline Team) can help. The support system provided by a great mentor can assist you in gliding through challenging situations. As Michael Dlouhy says, "You need a tested, proven, duplicable success system" and "every company has individual groups of entrepreneurial reps who have put together such a system. These are the people you want to work with.". His sincere advice is -- "Don't join a group unless they have such a system in place."
This piece of advice alone can save you years of agony if you are still choosing a company to join. If you are doing okay but there is no support person in place, you need to go upline until you find such a mentor!

Network Marketer Specialist Tips: “Are You Willing To…?”
In my previous posts, I talked about the importance of awareness - that network marketing can provide you with an opportunity to generate extra income if you do it right. Once you have decided that this is the industry (business model) that you will be using to generate financial results, you need to make sure that you honestly believe that it is going to work….not only for others, but for YOU too.
Your ‘not-a-shadow-of-doubt belief’ that it is going to work for you is the first criterion for your success. If you doubt you could learn the skills or feel reluctant to duplicate what successful network marketers do, your belief is not 100% yet. You may believe that it is going to work IF you are of certain personality type, IF you are in a strong team, IF you are able to teach others well, IF you have more time…... These ‘IFs’ are many! They are not going to serve you and can only distract you from your goals and dreams.
Success in network marketing means that you are able to identify what exactly is stopping you from getting the results that you want. For example, if you have identified it is your personality type that is stopping you from connecting well with others, have other person with similar personality succeeded? Are you willing to do what it takes to improve your communication style so that you too can succeed?
If your challenge is that you have not got a strong team to support you, have other people in similar situations succeeded? What about the pioneer network marketers? Are you willing to learn from successful network marketers so that you too can focus on the right actions (and do more of those consistently)?
If you feel that you are not able to teach others well, are you willing to learn the skills required? If you do not have ‘enough time’ to do the business, are you willing to organize some of your time and ‘just do it’? Remember this: in network marketing, massive results come after massive action; no actions = no results. This is a fair game!
As I mentioned in my previous post, Success is a Journey. The simple steps that you need to do daily are those based solidly on your awareness that by sticking to productive actions, results will come as a natural consequence. It is most important that everywhere you go, you connect with people and find out if there is a need for your products or service. The 100% belief that the right simple steps will get you the right results is a pre-requisite for your success!
Whilst on your Success Journey, your ability to stay focused depends very much on your belief. If you find yourself doubting your ability to succeed, a mentor and support team can assist you in dealing with those challenges.

Network Marketing Specialist Tips: Not to Take 'No' Personally
Hi, welcome to my blog after my vacation overseas.
Network marketers who first joined this industry have to realize that mastering the internal dialogue is the most important first hurdle to overcome. With a solid belief that network marketing is a legitimate business model that can literally change people's lives in a few years' time, new people would be willing to learn the skills mentioned in my last blog. However, mastery of new skill sets is not an overnight job. Many people who have failed to work on their 'internal dialogue' will come to doubt their ability to succeed when faced with challenges in their network marketing journey. If you find yourself struggling or wanting to give up trying, it is likely that there are still negative thoughts that you need to challenge.
Network marketers who truly understand that 'Success is a Process' will stay focused and refine their skills as they go out and talk to people about the products or opportunity they are promoting. There are people who are interested but there are also people who are not! The ability to remain confident that what you have been doing is on track is very important. Professional network marketers do not take 'No' personally.
If people do not show interest in the products or opportunity, reflect on if you have been successful in getting the prospects open up to you and talk freely about their hopes and dreams. Prospects say 'No' because of many reasons. Maybe the timing is not right for them; maybe other things are higher on their priority list. Professional network marketer help them see what is available by establishing relationship and meaningful conversations with them but accept their decision by respecting their individual circumstances.
When prospects made an intelligent decision to say 'No', the ability to bounce back is crucial. You may say, 'Hey, Viola, This is no secret!'. So, HOW are we going to stay focused and bounce back? My advice is to focus on 'Success is in the Process'. As long as you have mastered the skills in connecting, listening and asking questions, success will come as a natural consequence.
The person who recruits you should be able to assist you with this simple duplicable process for success.

Network Marketing Specialist Tips: Success is in the Process
Hi, welcome back!
Last time we summarized the 3 simple steps for achieving sucesss in network marketing. In this blog, we will be talking about WHAT exactly needed to be done to get good results.
As Jerry 'DRhino' Clark and many successful network marketers say, this is a SIMPLE business. The essential activities that can bring people into your organization is to PROMOTE what you are doing.
If you have been in the business for a while, you may have heard people say TTP (Talk To People) and that networking marketing is a 'Number's Game'. I know for sure that simply talking to people is not going to work! Most people start with great enthusiasm and practically 'drowned' all the people they talked to! In my very first year in network marketing, I was excited about the efficacy of the products and the business opportunity. I consistently promoted the products or opportunity to many of my friends and relatives. What happened? After one year in network marketing, NO-ONE joined! I felt rejected and hurt because I was taking people's responses personally.
To avoid this pitfall, you have to learn to Talk To People (TTP) professionally. This means that you have to totally put aside your own agenda (no matter how hourable that may be) - helping others to get quality products, introducing others to a wonderful opportunity, sharing the health information and testimonials, etc. That is, instead of focusing on what you want to achieve, focus on listening to others and finding out what the other person wants.
This process involve:
1) building rapport with others so that they are OPEN to what you are going to say
2) listening well to decide if your products or services can solve the other
person's problems (health, financial, personal relationship, etc).
3) asking questions to clarify your understanding of the other person's
goals and dreams
4) asking questions to see if the other person is ready for any change
5) offering information (websites, books, CDs, DVDs, etc) so that that person
can make an informed decison whether or not he/she would like to join your
company
One important thing that professional network marketers must master is the ability to let go when people have reviewed the information and decided that the products and/or opportunity is not for them (for WHATEVER reason). To do network marketing ethically, we must respect others' decision. For those who are really keen on learning more about HOW to 'go through the process', I recommend Tim Sales' training material.
In our Team, we encourage TTP AND TTP (Talk to People AND Trust The Process). Success is in the Process. Those who keep sowing the seeds professionally will eventually reap the results they desire!
Non-quitters are winners in network marketing!

Network Marketing Specialist Tips - Mastering Your 'Internal Dialogue'
Let's start by summarizing the network marketing tips so far:
1) A = Awareness - that network marketing is a legitimate business model that
can help you earn 'residual income'
2) B = Belief in the network marketing company (solid foundation), the products
or products/services AND, most importantly, your belief that YOU can do
network marketing right.
3) C = Clarity - you have a clear vision regarding what are you going to achieve
and when are you going to achieve it. (Note: I did not mention 'HOW' as
this is not as important as your WHY' (the reasons why you are in network
marketing in the first place.).
In the last blog, we talked about the importance in getting started. This means that you have to get started without first knowing HOW you are going to accomplish your goal.
Let's now take an honest look at what most people do. Yes, they have started, have A (Awareness), B (Belief) and C (Clarity). You yourself may be in this category or personally know someone in this category....AND... not suceeding! WHY?
Jerry 'DRhino' Clark, a network marketing expert who became a millionnaire in his late 20s summarizes well: In order to succeed in network marketing, you need to master your 'internal dialogue' so that you can go through the 3 simple steps and be successful:
1) Get started
2) Go in the process (taking action)
3) Don't quit
According to Jerry, many people who signed up in doing network marketing have not even gone through the process. Many have not mastered their own 'internal dialogue' and therefore not having the absolute conviction that they can succeed in this network marketing industry (simply by following the foot steps of successful network marketers). That is, people tend to give up far too easily.
In order that you will not give up too readily, you need to follow strictly what are required for success. In the system that I am using, we focus on identifying the deepest desire WHY someone would like to succeed in network marketing. We then focus on a special 30-day program to assist people with getting the 'internal dialogue' right. This means that they will then have a strong desire to succeed AND a right mental attitude to do the simple daily actions required.
The whole process is what we call 'Success is in the Process'!
I hope this information can assist you to take action in the right direction and save you years of unnecessary exploration or 'failure' in your network marketing journey.

Network Marketing Specialist TOP TIPS - Get Started !
Welcome back! Today, I am introducing Don Failler and will use his simply analogy about traveling by car from A to B to explain what you should do if you are aware that network marketing is the 'vehicle' that can bring you an additional source of income.
Don and his wife Nancy are a success story and they enjoy a lifestyle most people can only dream about. Google his name and you are able to find a lot of helpful information. His way of explaining 'residue income' of $100 a month = having about $50,000 in you bank savings account is a great way to keep network marketers self motivated. Watch his short video clips and decide for yourself if you'd like to keep learning so that you can earn that extra $50, $100, $500, $1000 or more a month by investing your time and energy in network marketing.
Here is his analogy (story): Let's imagine you want to take a trip in the family car and leave rainy Melbourne and drive to sunny Brisbane . The sunshine in Brisbane will represent reaching the top in the program that you're in. When you are there, you are SUCCESSFUL, you’re AT THE TOP! The FIRST thing that you have to do is to GET IN and GET STARTED. There isn't anybody in network marketing who has made a lot of money unless they first got started.
Oops, here our logic comes in - "WHY should I get started when I do not even know HOW to do the business?" Since the failure rate in network marketing is well over 90%, wouldn't it make sense that I'd rather not start at all? Or, perhaps it is wise to be cautious and just watch and 'see how things go'?
I would encourage you to ask yourself:
Is network marketing a legitimate business model?
What steps do I need to take to avoid the pitfalls ?
Where can I go to learn the essential skills needed for success?
Can I do it whilst having a full time job?
What about I am too busy doing household chores?
SUCCESS in network marketing is A JOURNEY. We get in, start learning how to do the business professionally and TAKE ACTION. As we go, our skills are fine-tuned. Success is achieving each SMALLER GOALS towards the ultimate goal. With Don’s idea about having extra savings in the bank account, would you consider earning an extra $20, $50, $100 a month as a success? Is that not a step bringing you closer towards your larger goal (say, of earning $1000, $5000, $10,000, etc a month, whatever your goal is) ?
A question to ponder: Do I want to learn whatever it takes to be successful in network marketing and earn the 'residue income' that I deserve?
Enjoy the exploratory journey :))
